One phenomenal electric purple looking ink

I bought this ink because I was looking for a match with Colorverse's Einstein Ring, which is presently out of stock - and I was not disappointed. It's a very close match, with beautiful, rich color. It's right in the middle of the road wrt wetness, and dries very quickly. I also love the Rohrer and Klinger inks, as they seem somewhat more water/smudge resistant than many. I highly recommend this ink! Great value for the price.

This is a lovely ink to use. The colour just sings to you. As far as useability, the ink will bleed through a lower quality paper, but seems to dry relatively quickly. I used the ink on three different papers, using a Noodler's Flex Nib pen and a glass dip pen and loved how the ink handled in all these situations. It works wonderfully on Lechsturm journal paper - no bleed through and flows beautifully. Definitely an ink that I will keep buying and using.

This is one of my favorite purples, a lovely vibrant orchid purplish-pink that still looks bright when used for writing, unlike many other purples which tend to look almost black when used with fine-nib pens. I tested out four or five different purples looking for a color like this one. The ink has a nice smooth flow, relatively on the wet side. Largely stays the same color when diluted with water for painting rather than revealing a different undertone (if you've never tried this, fyi ink can be used sort of like watercolor paint). I was expecting it to look really pink in diluted form but instead you get more of a lavender. See photos. In my opinion, the lack of layering is the only drawback of this color. If you paint with it you can of course get the ink to layer, but compared to other ink I have used in the same style of pens, the layering effect is minimal. For best layering results, make sure to let the ink dry between layers, which is not necessary for some other inks I have used. The metallic green sheen is very subtle and I never see it on written words, although this might be different if you use a calligraphy nib. I mostly use Extra-Fine pen nibs. So far I have only seen this sheen where the ink dries in very dark deliberately spilled spots. The sheen is what I'd describe as pistachio green. Again, this is almost never visible when I use the ink for writing or painting. If you like mixing your own ink colors, I have so far found this one to mix reasonably well with Diamine inks (e.g. with a darker purple or blue for some fun slightly more bluish purples).

I love Solferino - rich shade, but subtle. Doesn't scream, 'look at me!' Doesn't bleed. Great to use daily - I tire of using blues or blacks or even grays - wonderful as an accent color when I need color coding.
