Craftsmanship and Design
BENU is headquartered in Armenia, and all of their wild and crazy resins are designed and manufactured in-house there—you won’t find these patterns anywhere else! The steel #6-sized nib on the Euphoria is made in Germany by Schmidt, providing an excellent writing experience. BENU ensures meticulous quality standards for both the nib and the rest of the pen. The lead designer has a background in watches, jewelry, and painting restoration, which means that while the pens’ designs are bold and unique, their production is precise and reliable.
Each Euphoria pen features a faceted shape on both the cap and barrel, with slightly rounded ends. The steel clip is easy to operate, and below that, you’ll always find the BENU logo etched into the wide centerband. The threads on the grip section are very smooth, making capping and uncapping comfortable and ensuring they don’t bother you while writing. The barrel tapers just enough for a solid posting option without back-weighting too much, as it’s a relatively light pen. These pens fill using either a cartridge converter or a standard ink cartridge and come with both a converter and a long cartridge. They can also be barrel-filled with a little silicone grease on the threads for added safety.
