Graphic Details

I've been using Rhodia notepads for over a decade. Quality paper and fountain pen friendly. The smaller grid on these graph pads makes it easier to get large, to scale diagrams on a single page.

Flip design is great

Great for taking notes, doodling, or anything really! Love the perforated edges on each page. This design is for you if you hate wire rings getting in the way of your writing, like most notebooks!

People actually notice this

Does what it says on the tin. There are no surprises here other than the reactions I have gotten from co-workers, who have commented that a notebook like this makes a lot of sense. I appreciate that neither hand (right nor left) is disadvantaged with this setup. On a cloth-bound notebook, there's the inevitable **** near the fold that can make writing difficult. The grid is tight, which leads to efficiency. I can pack a LOT of notes or journal entries onto a page; a lot of that space would get wasted in a traditionally lined notebook. Even with a Lamy M or a stub nib. I can quickly sketch graphic organizers (I am a teacher) by hand and the grid keeps my layout honest. If everything in life worked as well as this notebook, our culture would not have invented the concept of perdition. (I would have typed a simpler word but it got flagged by the profanity filter!)

Love the paper texture!

I have been using Rhodia Wirebound Notebooks for several years because of the high quality and smooth feel of the paper. I mainly write with ballpoint, but in the past have used fountain pens as well, and Rhodia's paper is smooth and shows each type of pen to its best advantage.
