This glass inkwell from TWSBI has a polished raw anodized aluminum top. It has an ink capacity of approximately 50ml.

You can use the specific upper cap design to cleanly and directly fill your TWSBI Diamond 580, Classic, Mini, or Precision fountain pen, or simply unscrew the upper cap to fill any fountain pen from the inkwell itself.

The top of this Diamond 50 Inkwell is also interchangeable with the top of the TWSBI 70ml ink bottles.

Easiest Ink Bottle Ever

My overall experience with Goulet Pen Co. was amazing. The shipping was less than half the time they estimated and everything was perfect. The TWSBI Dimond Ink Bottle makes my life quick and easy when refilling my pens.

Best Inkwell on the Market

I own 5 of these. Yes, 5. There is a different color of ink in each one. This last one, the polished aluminum version, is the most striking one and the most expensive looking. It's not expensive, but it simply looks that way. Looks, of course, would not be enough to make them the best on the market. That is down to function. If you own a TWSBI diamond pen then you can attach it right to the ink well and fill it without even getting the nib dirty. If you don't own one, then it still functions as a regular ink well. They are heavy, stable, and hold a good amount of ink.

Nice Bottle But Chipped During Initial Fill

These bottles are beautiful and functional, if costly. I was very disappointed to experience the inner lip of the bottle crack and splinter apart into several small pieces as I rested another bottle of ink on top of it to let the remaining bits of ink to flow into this bottle. Seems extra-ordinarily and frankly untenably fragile. I was able to use very fine grit sandpaper to smooth the sharp glass edges down to be safe, but I'm frankly unlikely to buy any more of these bottles and cannot wholeheartedly recommend them.

A good ink well

So far so good. I had looked in several places for an ink well or bottle that I could use when I only had a small amount of ink to draw up into a pen. This ink well allows you the option of using it with only a small amount of ink. Excellent design.

TWSBI AL ink bottle

I like that it also comes with the insert cone. And just looks pretty sitting there (empty) (not ready to pour ink in it yet). I have all the other accoutrements ( snorkels-twisbi & phined, syringes, etc). to prevent ink from showing up other than in the pen. But I have had accidents.
