This box includes 7 long standard international fountain pen ink cartridges of Jacques Herbin Bleu de Minuit.

Jacques Herbin Bleu de Minuit is the darkest color available in the collection apart from Noir Abyssal ink. It is a deep, dark celestial blue, evoking a starry night.

Established in Paris in 1670, the Maison HERBIN initially specialized in the sealing wax, fine stationery and ink trade, and imported shellac from India. Since this founding their aim has been to "Give body and color to our thoughts." The adventure of one of the oldest ink makers in the world began over three hundred years ago but its products have expanded into a complete universe of inks, writing instruments, stationery, and other goods for amateurs and connoisseurs of the lettering arts.

Love this color

Love the color. I use this ink to write letters on fine Cranes stationary with a Jinhao 850. The color a shuttle blue green and shows well on my ecru stationary. The ink flows well and is very wet so a fine or extra fine nib is the order of the day

Boldly Dark Blue

Very dark blue. Using out of a S. T. Dupont Line D with a medium nib. It does not get any lighter while it dries for me, it stays very dark, which I like. It gets nowhere near the color displayed on the sample on the webpage. I know color reproduction is highly variable depending on screen set-up, but it's not even close. This ink does not feather for me on 80GSM copy paper, but it does bleed through, especially where you start and stop writing and there's just a touch more ink laid down.

Very nice ink - flows well and dries quickly. Deep and rich colour.

Gorgeous Blue

Love this color. It makes my other blue inks look drab. Still professional looking imo but could skirt the line depending on how conservative your situation because it does get noticed on the page. Has a fairly wet flow. I can clean my pen, pop this cartridge in, and start writing with it immediately. No waiting for it to flow through the feed, and I can write for any period of time with no hesitation in the flow. It just flows and flows. It puts down a tall glistening line that actually dries pretty fast. Starts out dark and dries to a brighter blue. With it being on the wetter side, I do get bleeding on Moleskine and lesser quality paper. Still surprisingly behaved though in terms of feathering. Using it in a Waterman Carne fine. Makes a slightly thicker line than my Waterman cartridges. Will smear with water but still legible.
