Great look, paper quality, and feel. Love the lightness of the dot matrix.

Rhodia is quality paper no matter the format. I enjoyed the A5 Webnotebooks and 2022 planner this year, but the Goalbook is a beefier edition with printed content index pages and perpetual calendars at the front to record your goals. There are also three ribbons compared to the one in the Webnotebook and an added pen loop. These are things I add to the Webnotebook, but the Goalbook is ready to go for me straight out of the box. This is now my go to journal as an annual planner as well as for specific project usage.

Among this style of notebook that I have tried, I would put the Rhodia Goalbook slightly above my Moleskines of the same size and slightly below the similar one from Leuchtturm 1917. Where the Rhodia stands out is the sheer smoothness of the paper! It evokes the same feeling as really nice bedsheets or polished marble. Plus it takes ink beautifully (I use Noodler's Bad Black Moccasin) without feathering or smudging. The only slight negative I have for the Goalbook is the binding: when riffling the pages it sometimes feels a little uneven, which I think is an effect of all the page bundles being affixed directly to the spine of the cover itself as opposed to an independent inner spine piece.

The paper is phenomenal. Notably, the elastic band for the pen is snug for all the different pens I have including some of the larger ones. 10/10

I love the color and texture of this notebook cover...and the paper is thick enough to prevent ghosting. There is an elastic tab to hold my pen and the pre-formatted table of contents keeps everything organized.
