TWSBI Diamond 50 Ink Bottle - Silver
This glass inkwell from TWSBI has a black anodized aluminum top with silver accents. It has an ink capacity of approximately 50ml.
You can use the specific upper cap design to cleanly and directly fill your TWSBI Diamond 580, Classic, Mini, or Precision fountain pen, or simply unscrew the upper cap to fill any fountain pen from the inkwell itself.
The top of this Diamond 50 Inkwell is also interchangeable with the top of the TWSBI 70ml ink bottles.

Is there anything better than a beautiful ink all cooped up in a gorgeous, weird-looking bottle? Why, yes. yes there is. There is, because eventually you will get only halfway to the bottom of that crazy big bottle of ink you bought six months ago, and you won’t be able to suck it up into your pen, no matter HOW HARD YOU TRY!!! Never fear, dear Pen Lover! TWSBI has your back! You can use this wonderful, ingenious inkwell no matter what sort of ink or pen you want to fill. Just pour your ink from that pretty but useless confection of a glass doorstop into THIS inkwell, screw on the cap with the internal little plastic bit in place, flip it over, uncap the inkwell and voila! You can suck that gorgeous ink right up in to your pen. There is a special way to use it with your Diamond 50, but so far, I’ve used it on other pens. It is ‘way more stable than that little cheap plastic “ink miser” you can get on Amazon. I don’t warry about tipping this sucker over. It is like the Rock of Gibraltar, sitting there on my desk—if the Rock of Gibraltar was 3 inches tall and made of glass. Five stars. I have two. The other one works just like this one. this is the fountain pen appliance you didn’t realize you needed. Get it.
I broke the plastic lid on another ink bottle. I bought this bottle from TWSBI because it is made from more durable materials. It is just what I needed.
I really love this bottle. It pairs perfectly with the Diamond 580 and Mini pens. I use it for inks that come in boring tall rectangular plastic bottles to reduce the risk of them tipping over during piston filling. Plus it looks great as a display piece.
I've had one myself for three years. When a close friend achieved a significant career milestone recently, we commemorated the occasion with the gift of an M800 Pelikan, some Edelstein ink, and, a superb Twisbi inkwell to bring it all together. I have to think quite highly of a product, just to mention it to someone else. For me to buy something and give it as a gift says, about all, of the good things about something that I can say.
This is the best and fastest way to fill your preferred method of expressing yourself. It makes using shimmering ink in your pen easier to get a decent amount of shimmer in each filling.
