I have tried many different notebooks for my journal writing. But this is the one to which I always return. It's hard covered. The paper is outstanding for fountain pens, or any other writing implement. There is a pocket in the back to keep a piece of blotting paper. It has 2 ribbons to mark my spot. And there is an elastic band which keeps the book closed when not in use. Ink does not bleed through, and it doesn't feather. And the A5 size fits into A5 sized covers. It's a wonderful notebook.

I really like the size of the notebook and the feel of the pages while writing.

Got this cause I was running out of my last batch of orange color Rhodia Webnotebooks. I selected the Purple to go with the Lamy Dark Lilac Safari pen and ink recently released. I have been using Rhodia Webnotebooks since they came out and I could no longer obtain the books I had previously been using. These notebooks are my standard journals now and will likely continue to be as long as they remain available!

I usually prefer paper with finer lines (like the Habana) because I rather exclusively use EF nibs and write very small. The colors of these notebooks, however, combined with the knowledge that I was buying a few wetter nibs and pens in order to use some of the Diamine shimmer inks meant that this was the right paper to try. I see now why everyone loves their Webbies so much. I might actually be a convert from the Habana after this; the paper is the same exquisite quality, but the slightly more compact size means that it's easier to toss the webbie in a purse and go on my way.Basically, I love this.

To start off, this notebook is just simply gorgeous! The cover has a soft, almost velvety feel, and the inside covers are decorated beautifully. More importantly, the paper is what you would expect from Rhodia. Great for fountain pens and brush pens. My only wish is that it had more than 1 bookmark and there was a dotted version for bullet journaling.
