Replacement Nib

Had a pen custom made by Scriptorium Pens. Very happy with the pen, a desk style on the order of a Nakaya desk pen, but didn't order the better nib with it. That was a mistake on my part. I have used Goulet nibs on a couple of other pens so when I decided to up grade Goulet was where I turned. Really happy with this nib. A little tinkering to get it seated and off and writing. A nice rhodium finish with gold highlights and smooth writing out of the package. This nib writes as well as a Pelikan M600 nib in my opinion. I have three M600s and am partial to them. I have been using inexpensive ink so far and still writes smoothly. Have some Mont Blanc looking forward to trying with this pen.

Amazing

I got this quite a while ago, several months in fact. And I must say, it really is quite incredible. I ended up putting it in a Jinhao x750, which I find quite humorous because it is one of the cheapest pens on the market - with one of the most expensive nibs.Anyway, it's really quite wet, which I love, it has some good bounce, way better than pretty much any steel nib. But I don't know if I can recommend it at this price, the Goulet nibs are also very good, and considerably cheaper.

Edison Gold Nib Unit

The service and website are outstanding. I placed the Edison nib unit in a Ranga Model 5 Ebonite I purchased online without a converter or nib unit for approximately $55 (I like ebonite and the cigar shape, and, in black, how wrong could I go?), and added the Edison Gold Nib Unit ($150) and a standard converter ($5). The resulting product (total cost: $210 plus tax) is a great writer that feels good. (Not as beautiful or quite as refined as an Edison, but an equally good writer with a warm, Ebonite feel.). My nib is EF, which is a European EF,and approximates a Pilot F or Sailor M/F. It is quite smooth, with very little feedback.
