Now this is a good paper when it comes to fountain pens! It doesn't feather and with the right ink, it dries quickly. Will be buying more!

One of my favourite writing pads! Very good quality and fountain pen friendly

I am new to the fountain pen world, and have no experience with the paper, pens and any other paraphanalia that goes with it. I needed writing paper for letters and chose this, based on reviews I'd read. I was surprised at how SMOOTH the paper is. I had no idea paper could feel that smooth! The ink properties just shine on this paper. It brings out whatever qualities the inks have. I couldn't believe how beautiful it would show on this paper. There is some bleedthrough because I can write heavy, and when I would scribble a tight light of ink to get a good sample, and I would go over it twice and three times to get a good "spectrum" of how the inks would look - where I would repeatedly go over would bleedthrough. Just normal writing it was fine and NO bleedthrough. I write letters and use both sides of the paper without issue. It's just a lovely paper. Can't say enough good things about it, except - You gotta get you some Clairefontaine Triomphe paper! You have no idea what you've been missing. Its like the Lincoln of the paper world.

I feel safe in picking any product that I have no experience with, as I know it will be superior quality and I won't be unhappy. AND, those who pack your order - well, I've not had anything come bent, banged up or broken, and with paper/pads, you know you can always bet if you don't pick it out at the store yourself - most times than not it will come bent or banged up or dinged in some way - NOT WITH THE AWESOME PEOPLE who pick your orders, and pack them with care to ship to you. Clairefontaine Triomphe A4 lined paper is my preferred medium for letters to friends and family. My handwriting is fairly large and I hate (hate, hate) writing on a slope across a tiny page. Perhaps I could acquire the ability not to do that, but when I can compose a letter using one of my favorite fountain pens, feel the ink glide onto the page, and watch it dry after a few moments, why would I want to stress myself trying to discern lines showing through unlined stationary or on lesser quality paper with tighter line spacing. I love this stuff! Clairefontaine Triomphe large envelopes are the perfect complement.
