This A4-sized black Rhodia top wirebound notepad features 80 sheets of extra white 80g acid-free, pH neutral 5mm dot grid paper. Each sheet is microperforated at the top for easy and clean removal. There is a hard cardboard back for writing support. These economical pads are a favorite of artists, designers, writers, and notebook fans for notes, sketching, and hand drafting. People love them for their grids, smooth paper, and iconic cover.

The dots are spaced 5mm apart, identical in dimensions to the graph ruling but much more subtle so it doesn't visually compete with your writing. Typically Rhodia dot pads have dots that are tight, gray dots, but for the top-wirebound ones they are slightly larger and purple, like the color of the Rhoda graph ruling. The difference is subtle but worth mentioning.

Fantastic paper. First time purchasing a dot grid. Absolutely love it.

Outstanding Notepad

This is easily one of my favorite notepads. Since it's a dot grid, I have the option of writing on the page lengthwise (landscaped). The paper is smooth and ideal for displaying sheening and shading inks. I prefer these wire-bound notepads over the stapled pads. This allows me to write on both sides of the paper, which is nearly impossible with the staple-bound pads. I recommend this product.

Great paper, but also great wire

This is my second experience with Rhodia paper. It lives up to the hype and I love it. I'm also very impressed with the wire binding. A few weeks in my backpack has not bent the binding out of shape at all. I am very pleased. I will order again for myself and I intend to gift a few to others.

Nice notebook

The paper has a smooth finish and works well with my fountain pen. Having the coil at the top is nice when writing since it doesn't get in the way. The sheets tear out easy as well.
