As others have said, this is the perfect paper for fountain pens—super smooth. But because of the cost, many of my fountain pens work well enough with less expensive papers, so I would probably only use this for specific situations.

It is one of my favorites. Good size, very good paper quality, and I can be anywhere and always see my notebook.

Paper has a nice surface that the pen glides over and no bleed on the front or the back even when saturating an area with dark ink

Rhodia is my go-to

Excellent fountain pen paper! No bleed though, no feathering and at a reasonable price. It is the only paper I use for daily work. I use Mont Blanc, Pelikan, and Sailor pens; fine, medium nibs. Even the wet Pelikan M1000 does not bleed through. Can't beat it!

GREAT Notebooks!

Every size Rhodia notebook works so GREAT for me works well with all my different fountain pens. This particular notebook is nice with the top binding. You can fold the cover (and any pages you have already written on) over the top and out of the way. This makes for a more compact writing area as opposed to a notebook with a stapled binding.
