I bought 2 of these to use as A5 inserts. They are the first staple bound notebooks I have used (at least recently and definitely since I got into this.. whatever you want to call it.. *hobby*). I don't know to what I should compare them, so I will just tell you my experience having used both regularly since 9-16-22 alongside a Midori MD. They fit nicely in my Taschenbegleiter Best Seller which I use daily, so they are both used almost daily. I am currently inked with Iroshizuku Kon-Peki. The paper, as i have heard from others and in my own experience using Rhodia paper of different calibers , I can say is perfectly capable of handling my daily needs without feathering, bleeding, ghosting, or other annoying habits. You may not get the glory-sheen experience expected from other high cost paper, but that is not what I need or expect out of it. These staple bound notebooks are great for conserving space in my EDC notebook cover, and they handle my few inks with ease. I am very happy with these and I am literally going to get some more right nowZ

Have been using Rhodia notebooks for years. These are THE best for the money! Anyone who uses fountain pens should have several!!

This is a great little notebook. I've used it as an insert in a travelers style cover. Perfect for fountain pens. Only wish it would lay a bit more flat.

The marriage between fountain pen and paper is everything. The Rhodia notebooks are the ideal match for my writing style. The A5 refill works for my leather journal cover.

Affordable, quality notebook. I use this for my classes and it gets the job done. A nice plus is it's made in France, too.
