Fantastic, I have had some fountain pens for years but just abandoned using then as did not know how to care for them. Great videos showed me how to take care of my old Pilot vanishing point pens. I have also ordered inks and some other pens and I love them all. And am more confident in how to take care of them Also ordered some cleaning stuff to help keep my arsenal clean and functioning. I don't know what I have that is so different, but my experience seems drastically different from others with this paper. I bought this to write a few letters along with a similar tablet made by Crane. Upon opening this tablet, and writing the opening line, I realized that the feathering was extremely high. This paper was very absorbent. And my nib was getting caught on my upstrokes in the cotton fibers. I am using Noodler's Navajo Turquoise ink in a vintage Waterman 52 pen with original gold nib. Granted I have trouble with this nib dragging on regular copy paper because of how small the tipping is, but I usually don't find issues using it with higher quality, less absorbent papers. I was extremely displeased with the results that I got on this paper. Fortunately, the Crane paper has worked beautifully.
