Great color - nice sheen

I have been using this for notes - Lamy Broad - and it is very nice. I can't speak to feathering as I'm using Clairfontaine paper. But I like the color. Very dark, but still purple.

Ohhhhhhh my gosh. It's amazing.

The color itself is not my very favorite, although it really does look nice with a lovely gold sheen--but the FEEL of this ink and the wetness is just off the charts!! My friend sent me a sample and I'm buying a stack of these cartridges with my next order. :)

Very Dark Ink

I am sure that part of my surprise is due to the fact that I am using a pen with an EF nib, but I thought I had made a mistake the first time I used this ink. I thought I had mistakenly used a cartridge with black ink in it; it looked just that dark. On closer inspection, I realized I had the right color, just that it was much darker than I expected. Trust me, this is a great ink for professional purposes. It is dark enough not to draw attention to itself, yet close inspection reveals a marked difference from the standard black inks. That is to say it is understated and refined. If you are looking for a brassy purple to show your freaky side, this isn't for you. Truth is, it may be just a bit too understated for me but your mileage may vary.

Nice Color but nouthing to fancy

The color is nice the shade is nice the ability to go from light to very dark is also very pleasant. The only thing this ink is lacking is something special that one thing that pizzazz that moment in the sun. This ink is much like the lamy pins work horses absolutely wonderful at what they do will not fail will not disappoint but at the end of the day not over the top not showy not super special. If you're looking for a really nice dark purple this is a great choice but if you're looking for something that will catch eyes turn heads are make people remember it you probably ought to move on to another ink. I do love purple however I am a little surprised that this did not come out as a fall color it is very dark, I would have truly enjoyed seeing something a little lighter and a little more playful for the spring and summer months.
