This is proprietary converters for your platinum pens, and it delivers nice consistent, rich ink flow for your pen (if it demands such). In my case - i have a Platinum President (B nib) which has a very nice rich ink flow, very smooth triter = very similar to MB 146 (M nib).
Upon receiving my gold platinum ink converter I noticed it arrived early, came in it's own box(unlike most converters) and packaged very well. The goulet team does a very well job making sure your packaging arrives safe. It's well greased upon opening, disassembles very easy, and usually fills all the way to the top with having to expel ink various times! Great product, from a great retailer, from an amazing brand!!!

Works great and exactly as designed.
The converter does its job well, but the price offsets the happiness that it provides. I am using it in a Platinum Preppy, and at twice the price of the pen that it's in, it is a little ridiculous. Overall, I very much like the product, but the cost is a little higher than I would have liked.

What is a converter?
A converter is a cartridge-shaped reservoir that allows you to use bottled fountain pen ink, when a cartridge would otherwise be your only option. Fountain pens that have this option are usually referred to as a cartridge/converter pen, or C/C for short.
