"Measure Twice, Cut Once."

This solid brass protractor and combined tool is the perfect antique-inspired accessory for your desk or to carry with your journal. Made of 100% solid brass and etched for durability with both imperial scales. The combined tool includes a protractor, french curve, triangles, and circle gauge. It makes the perfect reference point for all applications.

  • Handcrafted in Istanbul, Turkey
  • Length: 5.5"
  • Black etched scale
  • Thick brass
  • Protractor
  • French curve
  • Triangles 30, 45, 60 degrees
  • Circle gauged 6 sizes
  • Ruler 5.5"
  • Good for cutting

Please note: The brass is unpolished, and will contain superficial scratches throughout. Expect this protractor to appear somewhat industrial in nature.

As with using any ruler or protractor, we recommend you use your own discretion when using with a fountain pen, particularly one with a gold nib. The friction of the nib rubbing against the metal could cause damage to the nib in a way that would void most pen manufacturer’s warranties. For this reason it’s our recommendation you don’t use this product with fountain pens.

Exceeds expectations

I resisted this catalog-gorgeous ruler/protractor for a while, afraid it would be sadly flimsy in real life. Reader, it is not. This is a solid slab of brass. Actually heavier gauge that I'd hoped, and just as beautiful in real life. I do like the other reviewer's idea of a cork back, but a little bit of kneaded eraser does a decent job of helping it stick in place.

It makes marking angles i need so much easier. So many rulers i have do have angle markings on them but no grooves to actually mark my patterns. I can do this accurately with the grooves in this ruler. While i can surely do this with any ruler its easier and faster to just put that 45* angle on a straight line and gauge it with this simulation of 1/8 - just to get me started. The difference is at least a 1/16 to an 1/8. It makes a difference. I'm glad i found this.

Almost Perfect

It is beautiful and high watery feeling. The only issue I have is that mine seems to have a couple discoloration spots that I can't figure out how to clean off. A bit of a bummer, but still works well. If I figure out how to clean it it will be 5 stars.

Cool thing!

Only thing it needs is a cork backing so it doesn't slide around so much in my notebook!
