I uses these cards for notes & reminder cards every day. They are sturdy yet not too thick or flimsy so they can be used for book markers with notes & will not affect the books pages. I uses them for ink samples too.

So smooth and pleasing to the touch, and exceptionally great with all the writing implements I've tried on them including fountain pens that write very wet. Zero bleedthrough, zero feathering. I was using index cards from Staples before this that were absolutely horrible by comparison - rough, gritty, cardboardy, feathery, etc. The grid pattern on these makes them versatile (useful for taking notes in either portrait and landscape, or for diagrams), and the ruling is light enough not to interfere but visible enough to see well. The colors are in light, unobtrusive pastel primaries (red, green , yellow, blue). These index cards have become my go-to for handwritten note-taking and brainstorming. I have stacks of them everywhere nowadays and have begun to prefer them to journals/notebooks because I have started to enjoy capturing one idea/concept/issue per card. I'm very happy with them.

It's very hard today to find index cards that stand up well to fountain pens! I've used these cards for many years, usually purchased at a pricey stationery store. Delighted to see they are available from Goulet. These cards exhibit very little feathering with most inks. The card color is integral to the paper fiber, rather than applied in a superficial sizing. The light quadrille grid enables using these for note taking either in a landscape or portrait orientation. They are metric sized, 75x125 mm, so just a very tiny bit smaller than a 3x5 -inch card. The 100 count packs contain 25 each of 4 pastel colors. Frankly, if these were available in single-color packs of 100 (the light canary is my favorite), I would prefer that. Single-color packs of these cards are available in the UK, maybe sometime Goulet will stock those?

The paper quality is great. This company's products were hard to find, but are well worth it. And the cards get the job done - what more can you ask?Also, Goulet's service is top notch. I received my order sooner than expected and it was packaged with real care. Glad I stumbled upon them when looking around for these cards.

I like writing on these. The different colors help me organize scenes in my fiction. Very smooth, no feathering or bleedthrough.
