The Col-o-ring Ink Testing Book helps you keep your ever expanding ink sample catalog organized with 100 white sheets of 160g paper bound with a ring clip. Colors pop against the white paper which resists feathering and bleeding. You can use the back of each sheet for more swatches or as a place to make notes about the swatches on the front. The clip ring allows you to easily add, rearrange or remove swatches helping you find the right sample fast.

To help organize your swatches even more, try adding stick on page tabs or adding oversized card stock to the book. That way you can divide it up by color, brand, characteristic or any other way you could think of!

AWESOME ink swatch book!!!

I got this as I watch a couple of youtubers who use this as one of their regular ink swatch books, and I needed something with better paper than what I had currently been using. I love the versatility of this - I've been putting 2 swatches on each side of each page, which is more than enough room to see all the shading and sheen each ink can have, with enough room for the names of each ink as well. These DO NOT BLEED at all, and I've really dumped ink on some of the pages!!!! This allows me to use both sides of the papers, getting 4 inks swatched per sheet, as long as I am patient enough to let the inks dry all the way before flipping over! which is hard when you're excited to use such a well-designed product with all the gorgeous inks I've hoarded over the years. :)

Easy and satisfying!

While the paper doesn't show much shimmer or sheen as others, like Tomoe River or my Rhodia, this little ring is still a very convenient way to know what inks I have in my collection. I love using multiple colors, so getting to flip through and find a color that speaks to me is much more satisfying and easy this way. I use a q-tip to make swatches and color the edge of the card to make sorting and finding easier.

Great Inks watch option

So much better than any other way I’ve tried to test inks. The cards are the perfect weight to show sheen in inks, even ones I didn’t know had a sheen, without showing through to the back of the card.
