More ink efficient than CON-40?

I had some issues cleaning my CON-40 and decided to check this converter out. My first squeeze converter, but it even seems to hold a bit more ink? Great combo with the E95 and less hassle cleaning.

Functions well but shorter than the Original

It meets the requirements with one exception. The length of the converter is slightly shorter the original, so the nib when extended is not as long as originally intended. I made a spacer cut from a pencil eraser to make up the difference.

Long overdue review

The ink converter was exactly what I expected it to be, and it got here within several days, perfectly fine. As a matter of fact, I am about to make a purchase from their website right now: a new bottle of ink.

For my Pilot and Namiki Fountain Pens

Got several of these to help update my Pilot and Namiki fountain pens. Work perfectly and much easier to use than a twist style converter .. got one now in my First Generation Namiki Vanishing Point .. work perfect in all of my pens. TU

FAQs about Converters

What is a converter? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

A converter is a cartridge-shaped reservoir that allows you to use bottled fountain pen ink, when a cartridge would otherwise be your only option. Fountain pens that have this option are usually referred to as a cartridge/converter pen, or C/C for short.

What pens accept a converter? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

These fountain pens all take a converter. Please check the individual product descriptions for if the pen needs a proprietary or standard converter.

You can also check out our Cartridge/Converter Compatibility Guide for general brand guidance.

How do I use a converter? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

A converter goes in the place of where the ink cartridge would normally go.

How do I clean a converter pen? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

You can clean a converter by flushing it out with water, the same way you would use it to fill your pen, but instead of ink you’re just using water or a Pen Flush
