Nice Empty Bottle

This is one nice empty bottle that had a little left over Onyx Black, the smell is horrible. But after you get it cleaned out with water which becomes so pretty and the bottle looks so classy on the shelf, which I am going to put my Calligraphy ink in. So pretty.

These are great little bottles

I use them for dip pen ink wells. I like how a little elbow grease and an abrasive sponge takes all the printing off the glass. Low center of gravity since they are designed to be for ink. Also I like the random taste of the original ink. Good to see.

Beautiful design

This is a very pretty bottle, that is a well balanced design. It came in the original box, and I might add that it was beautifully packed. It has enough weight on the bottom to keep it steady, and the color of the ink, adds to the overall look. The writing on it is easily removed , as is the company writing on the lower part of the bottle. There is a P mark on the plastic top, but no other markings. It's certainly worth what it costs, and would look great on your desk, or in the window.

Useful as it is beautiful

The Pelikan Company has combined elegance and practicality in their bottles. Some ink companies, whose inks I love, use practical but dull looking bottles. Not a problem! Simply decant a favorite ink into one of these beauties and voila! I've even used these to decant ink samples. The bottle's solid base prevents any danger of tipping and the thick glass makes the bottle look like a decorative paperweight on my writing. I addition, the wide opening the allows one to get the last remaining bit of ink simply by tilting the bottle. For me, there is something magical about glass. So the next time you purchase a beautiful ink in a ho-hum bottle, add one of these winners to your order.

Awesome bottle. You can remove the label

Awesome bottle. Love the shape and the wide opening. And it's heavy enough not to get knocked around easily. The label is printed on not etched or anything so it comes off pretty easy if you scrape it. I didn't have a box cutter on hand or anything so I just used the edge of a spoon and it came off wonderfully.
