I bought this journal as a gift, where I wrote 100 things I loved about one of my children inside, one for each page. I was surprised at how hard it was to find exactly 100 page journals!Paper quality was good and thick, but the pages were a little rough. I experienced a lot of scratching with all of my nibs. I can't give it 100 percent a fair shake since I was writing in print for this one, and that also makes it harder to get the ink flowing properly, but the paper was rough regardless. It looks and feels very high quality; the gold edges and ribbon are an especially elegant touch.

Journals were packed with a lot of care and arrived in perfect condition. Can't wait to write in them. Will definitely buy from here again. Awesome company, they deserve your business and support.

This journal is beautiful on the outside, but the paper is way too textured and rough, making the writing experience unenjoyable. Pretty disappointed in this purchase and would not recommend.

I use this notebook for my daily journal and love it. I use it while relaxing on my couch with it propped on my knee. The wide line spacing makes writing like that carefree. I only journal on the right side page for comfort but this allows me to use the left side for little notes or bullet points which makes searching the journal easier. I don't mind the slight texture of the paper and the marker ribbon is essential for finding where I left off quickly. I can't imagine needing anything else from a daily journal notebook. This one hits all my requirements.
