Supplies Used:
- LAMY with medium steel nib
- Rhodia No. 16 dot pad, 80g white paper
- Tomoé River 52 gsm white paper

Smear Test (Dry Time):
- <10 seconds – Document Ink Fog Grey dries in less than 10 seconds, like the rest of the Document Inks.
Drip Test (Water Resistance):
- High – Seeing as it's one of the intended uses for permanence, Document Ink Fog Grey is very water-resistant and it shouldn't smear or run very much, if any at all.
Saturation:
- Medium – A difference can be seen between the first and third swab, and it will be noticed if something is gone over twice.
Ease of Cleaning:
- Medium – The water-resistant characteristic of this ink makes it a bit tougher to completely clean out of a pen, especially a demonstrator.
Shading:
- Medium – There is some difference that can be seen when writing, as there are parts of letters and words that show darker than others.
Flow:
- Moderate – This ink flows on the wetter side and it tends to have no issues coming out of a pen.
