This ink is different and beautiful. Love it

This red isn't kidding around. It's deep and saturated. As it's not waterproof is also washed well; however, the washed ink turns to a slight pink with what seems to be just a hint of purple(very subtle!). It doesn't wash out to pink... it maintains a bit of red still. The red isn't bright but it's not browned down either. It's a deep red.

I love this red. It's my favorite by far. I don't see a lot of shading but that's not what I'm looking for here. It works great for mark-ups on normal paper (it will ghost, maybe bleed, but I don't always use both sides) and I even like the look on good paper when I just want to write in red (no glaring issues with ghosting or bleed).My only issue with it is that it takes soooo long to dry on decent paper. I just tried it again in Apica CD25SN and I can't even judge what the dry time might be ...15 minutes? More? I wrote in seven different inks, continued onto the next page, cleaned another pen, and went back to page before it. It still smudges where the others are dry. Maybe my bottle is an anomaly, but I wouldn't expect a quick dry time on this.

This ink performs spectacularly in all of my pens, as expected of Noodler's. The color is beautiful, and with an italic nib I even get a nice bit of shading.

I struggle considerably seeing the color red, so I purchased a bottle of this with the hope of being able to actually see the color when I write. I was not disappointed in the least- it is a red ink that is RED. Absolutely love it.
