Edison Premiere Fountain Pen - Delphinium
This Edison Premiere pen is made of a blue and purple swirl resin with a silver clip, and a polished #6 steel nib engraved with the Edison logo. It accepts a standard international converter (included) or short standard international cartridges. It can also be converted to an eyedropper with a little bit of silicone grease.
Previously a seasonal edition in 2017, it's now available as a part of the regular line.
The Premiere marks the first pen of an exclusive line of Edison fountain pens available only through the Goulet Pen Company. All Edison pens are handmade in Milan, Ohio by Brian Gray and are each unique. This pen looks even more amazing in person, and writes beautifully with even a fine nib. One of my favorites in a growing collection.
The folks at Goulet worked with me on a difficult shipping situation, drop shipping this pen to where I would be several days after ordering. The pen arrived on time and performed flawlessly. It is such a smooth writer. The fine nib slides across the paper like a skate on fresh ice. The thing is meticulously made and a pleasure to use.
This pen is very pretty. It is smooth and shiny and comfortable to write with. Very good writer and easy to start. There is a spot in the pattern that is much lighter than the rest of the pen. I didn't like that spot until I decided it looked like an evil eye. The eye has agreed to protect me and now we are cool. It is lightweight, which I like. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the price is a bit high. I can tell I am really going to enjoy this pen!
I bought this pen because it is hand crafted - a work of individual art. It is lovely. Its light weight which is not my preference so writing experience isnt quite what I am looking for and the cap does not post securely. But it is a work of art and thus has a unique personality!
Nor only does this pen write superbly it is VERY light in weight! Highly Recommended!
