Beautiful

This ink is a favorite of mine. The color is gorgeous especially on cream Midori paper. Currently inked in my Sailor Pro Gear Stellar Black Hole, extra fine nib. This combination is perfect!

Good choice for Autumn

Like the color but it's very similar to Diamine Desert Burst. Once you choose one of these colors or the other but not both.

What a beautiful shading ink!!

Shades wonderfully with a wet writing pen. Colors range from dark brown to a light yellow orange. I'll try to add some pictures of my writing with my Jinhao X450 super wet medium nib.

Nice shading

I was looking for a carmel-y sepia color to go with my new Pelikan White Tortoise pen. It has a broad nib so I wanted something with shading. I like this ink a lot - it has really nice shading that yields a spectacular effect if the ink is blotted a bit just before drying. I will eventually buy a full bottle - one of the many things on my list :)

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I fill my fountain pen from an ink sample vial? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

The technique depends on the fountain pen's filling mechanism.

Check out our blog post on How to Fill a Fountain Pen from an Ink Sample Vial, or watch the video here:

How much writing can I really do with 2ml? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

We find that usually you can get 2 good fills for a typical converter with our ink samples, or one good fill with a large capacity piston-filling pen.

How much writing you can do depends on you more than anything else. It mostly depends on how big or small you write, and the nib size you’re using. We recommend experimenting with different nib sizes to find what works best for you.
