I have a sample of this ink I'm using in a Jinhao 100 14k nib. It does amaze and delight me. In good light, it goes down hard-to-read yellow-orange, and dries Buddhist monk garb saffron. In less good light, it is easier to read from the start. When it dries, it shades to yellow like you want your paella. I am journaling with it on Midori MD paper, and find it easier to read long passages than I thought. The ink seems to behave well on most papers, not too wet, not at all dry. I could see getting a bottle, if I want "orange" ink.

I wanted a yellow color like the image shows, but the color looks orange. It's a beautiful orange, I just thought I was getting yellow like the photo on the listing.

I love cooking with saffron, and this ink is precisely the deep yellow of saffron infused in water. It's a bright, happy color without being hard on the eyes, offers plenty of contrast on any paper, and looks great in just about any nib you want to use.

Most pleasant yellow known to me; enough ink to write, design, and mix with other colors. No feathering nor other problems on Tomoe River paper of course...

I was using up the sample tube of MG with my glass pen and watercolor brush on a print. Later in the night spouse went to look for something and said, hey, something on your table shows up crazy with the ultraviolet light, (we both work in labs and have nerdy stuff in our house). Attached is photo of normal and with ultraviolet light. I might reconsider and get a bottle because of this, even though I decided I like Habanero better.
