Loved It!

This color is so beautiful and vibrant. It looks so nice with my pink Jinhao 993 Shark. It also dries quickly so it doesn't smear which is great for left-handed people.

Fun, but not practical

I purchased this ink thinking it was a subdued, peachy pink. While it is peachy, it is not subdued. And it's not as pink as I had hoped for as it is more a shade of vibrant orange/peach. With that said, I still like the ink. I may not use it for every day writing & note taking, but fun notes & journaling I would. In my opinion, it's a great highlighting ink. Using it with a medium or broad nib is perfect for highlighting notes. Overall, this is a great ink for my ink stash.

Great Color!

This color was just the combo of pink and orange. Just what I was hoping for in a coral ink. Will be picking up a full bottle soon!

My Favorite Ink So Far

I love this ink. I'm new to fountain pens and have been trying out ink samples for the past two week. I'm really into the idea of finding a nice go to ink that I can use for journaling. I'm also a TA and I do a lot of grading so I knew I wanted one in a signature color so my students couldn't fake grades on me (I've been burned before). I really thought I wanted a brighter color than this, but I've fallen in love with this Coral. It looks pink in natural light and orange at night under my lamp. It doesn't feather or bleed on me, and I'm usually writing on computer paper (when grading) or better quality journal paper (but nothing like a midori paper quality). It's wet without puddling or taking too long to dry, and it is easy to read. I'm undoubtedly buying a full bottle of this.

Very orange coral

Definitely way more orange than I was expecting. But a nice bright color.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I fill my fountain pen from an ink sample vial? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

The technique depends on the fountain pen's filling mechanism.

Check out our blog post on How to Fill a Fountain Pen from an Ink Sample Vial, or watch the video here:

How much writing can I really do with 2ml? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

We find that usually you can get 2 good fills for a typical converter with our ink samples, or one good fill with a large capacity piston-filling pen.

How much writing you can do depends on you more than anything else. It mostly depends on how big or small you write, and the nib size you’re using. We recommend experimenting with different nib sizes to find what works best for you.
