Vibrant and True to Picture

The ink bottle is a nice size and easy to use with an ink syringe (as the neck of the bottle seems to be a bit narrow and the bottle is lightweight). The colors displayed on website is true to the vibrancy when used in person; it's a lovely color

Beautiful

Love the color. It matches my TWISBI coral fountain pen.

Lighting Dependent Red-Orange

I inked up a fairly wet writing western medium with this, and to my surprise it was very orange! I was honestly a little disappointed. However, I then moved underneath a different light, which was much more white, and the ink became a bright red, similar to what I was expecting! This was the first ink I felt changed to a completely different color under different colored light, to me its a pretty noticeable shift. Personally I feel like this is a drawback, but perhaps to others this is something they might enjoy. I do like the entirety of spectrum of colors though, and under white light it is a fairly intense bright red that reminds me of lipstick on a mirror for some reason. I never find it too pale or bright to be hard to read, but it is strong and bold. Again, I was using a wet nib, perhaps it is paler in finer, drier nibs.

coral ink

This ink was so nice to use in my new coral TWSBI. I just love them both!

Coral me impressed

I love Diamine ink, and this is my favorite one yet. It's a beautiful pinky-orange shade - more pink than orange (unlike all the other coral inks I've seen, which trend the other way). It's wet but still dries relatively quickly. I don't find it too bright for everyday writing, personally, but I like bright colors!

Frequently Asked Questions

Which pens can accept this ink? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

Any of these fountain pens will work with bottled ink. Typically, as long as the pen can be filled with a converter, has a built-in filling mechanism like a piston, or can be eyedropper-filled, it can accept bottled ink. You can also refill an empty ink cartridge from bottled ink using an ink syringe.
