Amazing

I absolutely love this pen, first tried a fancy ink with shimmer and couldn't get good flow but once I found an ink that worked. Beautiful!!!!

Looks great, but a learning curve

I bought this pen to do ink samples, but found myself a bit frustrated in my first attempts. I have never used a glass pen before, so there was a learning curve to deal with. The tip needed some smoothing. I found with my first attempts that the flow was very inconsistent, from a ghost line to a gusher. After playing around with it a bit I found that it helps to only fill the grooves halfway. There are still skips at times, but not fully filling the grooves helps to control gushing. I'm not sure how other brands perform, so I can't give a proper comparison as others have done. Since there's such a learning curve with glass pens, maybe GP can make a video on how best to use this particular glass pen, and attach the video to the product page.

Prettier but not as good

After finding a cheap glass pen that created a lovely line but was a bit scratchy I thought I'd purchase a more expensive one. This new pen allows the ink to flow entirely too heavily at first, creating blobs and extremely thick lines. It settles down after a few words, but then you have to keep rotating the pen to keep ink flowing to the tip. The cheap pen is finer, more consistent, and it writes longer on a dip. I think the big issue is that the new pen has are fewer channels on the nib (therefore broader) and they are at a less steep pitch. The fine channels that are more closely spaced and at a steeper pitch (more times around the nib for each channel) result in more surface area and a more even flow of ink. Such a shame. I really wanted to like this.

Very Nice Glass Pen

I really like this glass pen. I have had many in the past, but this is the best writing experience I have had from a glass pen, and the amount of ink that it holds is very impressive.Highly Recommended

Good

Like the look and balance of the pen. The nib is a little broader than I like. I will lightly sand it and hope for the best.
