Rhodia No. 16 Notepad Black Lined

I purchased this notepad to compare its paper qualities to the Clairefontaine paper in their A5 notebook which I found too slick for my writing style. The Rhodia paper performed just as well as the Clairefontaine paper in every respect and provided a more tactile flow to my writing mannerisms.
I will continue to use the Clairefontaine notebook because the paper is superb however, the Rhodia paper has won me over due to its slightly more tactile qualities.
Going forward Rhodia will be my primary choice in paper.

My go to paper

This paper is fountain pen friendly. I use mostly juicy, broad and italic nibs and I get minimal bleed through, if any. The paper is smooth. I also love how the cover is creased near the top to fold easily back and fold under the pad when using. Yes, this paper is more expensive than typical pads, but I have spent the money on my fountain pen and ink. I want a great writing experience! And this provides it. Cheaper paper doesn't do it for me.

Wonderful paper

Excellent so far. I got back into using fountain pens after a long break. I discovered that the brand of paper I use had declined in every respect but price. After some research, I decided to check out Rhodia. No feathering, no bleedthrough. Even the perforations work better than what I had been using. Goulet Pen offered it at a decent price and got it to me quite promptly.

This Notepad fits perfectly into my Bible Cover perfectly

Does not bleed with any of the fountain pen & ink combinations that I have used to date. Very smooth surface, and a joy to write upon.
