Beautiful Teal Bluish Green

My experience using the item was very good. The product is a beautiful teal bluish green exactly as shown on the Goulet web site. I was hoping it would be more of a turquoise color, but I still love the color anyway.

Love it

Oh I love this ink! I'm a bit of a fan of the Pilot Iroshizuku line but this ink had me ooohhing and aahhhing with its wetness, shading and sheen.

Samples - what a great idea

Having samples to decide between two ink colors is such a wonderful idea for someone who can't make up her mind and is picky about their colors. I also love iroshizuku ink. Of course at first it looked like Goulet had sent two of the same color, but they had no problem rushing a replacement to me. And I was able to see what i liked. Thats customer service for you.

Good, but there are better in the Pilot lineup

The pilot inks are well known for a reason, and are all great. They all have their own characters though and I wasn't in love with this one. The color just seemed a little off to me from what I was looking for. Its almost blue but not quite. The flow is ok but I'd rather just grab some Kon Peki or a bottle of Noodler's

Really nice color, but incredinbly wet ink!

I love the color of this ink, but it is a very very wet ink!. I put it in my Faber Castell Loom with EF nib and it is a gusher! It feathers plenty with that pen and if you use it with medium and broad nibs it will bleed through on any paper, that is why 1 star is removed. It behaves well enough with EF to use it daily, but i would not use it with any other nib.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I fill my fountain pen from an ink sample vial? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

The technique depends on the fountain pen's filling mechanism.

How much writing can I really do with 2ml? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

We find that usually you can get 2 good fills for a typical converter with our ink samples, or one good fill with a large capacity piston-filling pen.

How much writing you can do depends on you more than anything else. It mostly depends on how big or small you write, and the nib size you’re using. We recommend experimenting with different nib sizes to find what works best for you.
