I tried this interesting shade of brown ink to see how much of it would wash out on fountain pen friendly paper and I am amazed that very little had disappeared from the paper after it was dry for a couple of hours. I was a little disappointed that I wasn't able to see it change from the brassy brown color to purple that many have witnessed, but I am pleased that the ink stayed in place because I mainly wanted to make it my go to envelope addressing ink.

It was fun to watch the ink dry from a lovely medium brown to a lightly tarnished brass color. So far I haven't really noticed it staining my acrylic Konrad's ink window and I'm hoping that status continues and it will be easy to clean out of the pen when my sample is done.

Great job, Nathan! Now I'd like to see an ink color that would embody the finest qualities of Presidents Obama and Biden and possibly a Cheetos shade of orange or gold disappearing ink that you can make reappear with heat to embody President Trump's most recognizable quality.

It looks great and regal, and that purple undertone looks fabulous!

This ink is pretty cool. I got it as a sample but I will probably order more. It has some water resistance but will bleed considerably. The part of the ink that bleeds out is yellow-ish while the ink that is resistant is purple. A really beautiful effect for some artwork. I am using a TWSBI mini with a fine nib. The ink flow is moderate.

I love the color of this ink. It is brown initially but lightens to a lovely gold that does not get greenish like baby food. Very lovely! However, the Noodler's Inks seem to be thin (runny) which has been hard for me. I am using them with an inexpensive fountain pen and inexpensive quill with metal nib, and I am a newbie, so that might be more of a me problem than the ink.

This ink is really nice for doodling, plus it's fun to add water and bring out some purple at the end. **I used a Twsbi Eco with a medium nib.
