Everyone can finally decide for themselves whether a notebook or planner requires a pen loop. This burgundy red pen loop is simply attached into the cover at the back. Made of a strong elastic strap, for thin pencils and fountain pens. The pen and pencil loop is self-adhesive and can, if desired, be stuck to the inside back cover of the notebook.

Standard size pen loop

Wish I had read some of the reviews. Loved the journal, but this standard pen loop won't hold my Al-star or my Lamy Studio. Without it attached to the notebook, the Studio could be squeezed in, but it was very hard to get out, and after attaching to the notebook, I could not get the pen into the loop without a GREAT deal of struggle. Loop fit my vintage Cross ballpoint pen perfect, but this was to encourage me to write with my fountain pens! On the manufacturer website, they do make an XL size for fountain pens! Maybe Goulet Pens will soon carry the XL loops!

This isn't going to fit any girthy pens lol, but I only needed it for the pencil I carry with that notebook

Perfect for a planner pen

These are pretty tight loops, but perfect for me - I put them on a small Rhodia weekly planner to hold a .38 Frixion pen that I use to make calendar notes. It's the perfect size for that skinny pen, larger pens may have issues but I absolutely love having these loops for my purposes.
