The question of flex in a pen nib is often one of degree. You get an antique Waterman 52 with an original nib, it is going to have a ton of flex, and much more so than the modern standard "nail-hard" nib. Then there are flex nibs like those sold on pens coming from India - very flexible by today's standards. The Goulet nib fits somewhere in between one of those modern India nibs and the standard modern nib. You get decent line variation and a more interesting laydown of ink on paper, but not super-flex. These are marvelous nibs and give great variation on the page/

I was expecting to get slightly flexy but the noodlers ahab konrad and creeper flex more than this thing however if you arent into flexing a whole bunch it is a great ef nib

The expert nib is a neatly trimmed, polished, couture finger nail that transmits my arm muscles and hand nerves into a smooth flow pressing the ink into the paper book. There is life affirming squibbles, letters in a row that mean something to someone who I don't know. This nib bends my life and feels like a cry like life, that might be something else.

I was just seeing , what all the hip, is about flex nibs. Not too impressed with the flexing, but it is a great fine nib for writing.
