Always a ten. They care and put little things like stickers and hand written who packed your parcel. They are a small business. They deserve support. I give them a 20 out of 20.

I'm testing four different A5 writing tablets; Clairefontain Triomphe, G. Lalo Verg� de France, Original Crown Mill Laid Paper and Original Crown Mill Pure Cotton along with my Rhodia A5 notepad. The G. Lalo has a nice feel. Of the 11 ink and pens I used for testing only my 1.5mm stubs had a skipping problem. A couple of others skipped on one or two letters. The lined sheet I use underneath it showed through well. No bleed through and minimal if any feathering. I didn't do a timed drying test but all the inks dried fairly fast to the touch. It has only a slight cream color to it.

I've bought two or three tablets of this stationery. It is a substantial paper with just a bit of texture. It appears to be a laid paper, and the fine horizontal ribs help me keep my writing straight. The white has a slight cream or ivory tone, but it shows most inks in their true colors. This is beautiful stationery, and I like to think that when someone receives a note written on Lalo Verge de France, they know they are cared for.

I don't really like this paper. It is very rough to the touch and I find my fountain pens are very full of feedback.

I find the texture of this paper has a bit more tooth to it than I had expected. Some of my drier pens don't do well on it. And even my wetter ones aren't exactly thrilled either!
