Unacceptable spread

I used Noodler's Lexington Gray and Noodler's Black Eel in the same Lamy 2000 medium nib. The spread was noticeably greater with the Lexington Gray on quality paper. I will limit the use of Lexington Gray to a fine point Lamy Safari. I won't buy again for correspondence.

Nice service

Excellent. The website confirmed that the Noodler's Lexington Gray was what I wanted to add shading to my pen and ink drawings. Shipping was timely, and the package cradled the ink bottle much more carefully than the standard Amazon practice.

Lovely gray.

Noodles fills their ink bottles to the tippy top. Really like this shade of gray. It's soft and not too dark or too light. This will be one of my favorite inks. Inked a Twsbi Go 1.1 stub nib, nice flow. Packaged with the greatest amount of care by Goulet Pens.

I like dark blacks so naturally i have noodlers black in all my pens. But i ordered Lexington gray and i couldn't be more impressed. It flows really well in my pens and the color is amazing. And it dries surprisingly fast. I have it inked up in my 2 favorite pens( Twisbi ALR 580 & Kaweco AL sport) as of now and will most likely stay in those pens because i like it that much.

Any of these fountain pens will work with bottled ink. Typically, as long as the pen can be filled with a converter, has a built-in filling mechanism like a piston, or can be eyedropper-filled, it can accept bottled ink. You can also refill an empty ink cartridge from bottled ink using an ink syringe.
