Wearingeul Dracula - 30ml Bottled Ink
This 30ml glass bottle of Wearingeul Dracula red fountain pen ink has added blue shimmer. It's inspired by a vampire in the night.
Wearingeul inks are made in South Korea. They illustrate scenes or the atmosphere of novels and poems.
Due to the amount of particulate in this ink used to achieve the sparking look, you may experience restricted ink flow in some of your pens. We recommend shaking the ink thoroughly before filling and gently rolling the pen in your hands often to keep the shimmer effect consistent. This will also help prevent clogging. You will also want to be diligent about cleaning and maintaining your pen when using this ink.

Without thinking, I got a bottle of this ink because of the namesake; I'm a huge Dracula fan. And at first, I was disappointed. It seemed entirely too bright. It's pinker than I expected. And blue shimmer! Why? It is definitely a well-behaved ink, good flow and a good amount of glitter. Works well in a medium Schmidt nib, but had some flow issues with a fine. No big deal for a shimmer.
Then, the color grew on me. The color is akin to bright, arterial blood; the blue shimmer representative of Dracula's cold blooded nature. In the right lighting, the blue and red pairing makes this ink look violet. A shimmer I will be reaching for often.
Had a sample before. Came back for a full bottle, I liked it so much. Deep, velvety, bloody crimson on Leuchtturm1917 Bullet Journal 120gsm paper, with icy blue shimmer that can look violet depending on the angle.
