A Goulet exclusive in North America! As a special promo, we're including a free 40ml bottle of dark blue TACCIA Hokusai-Koiai fountain pen ink.
This maki-e TACCIA Miyabi Kaga ebonite fountain pen in Autumn Monsoon has a turquoise background with specs of black and gold, and is accented by silver trim. The airtight cushion seal cap allows for a snug closure. Each limited edition fountain pen is individually numbered out of 100 on the bottom of the barrel.
In the 17th century, Tsunanori Maeda, the fuedal lord of the Kaga Domain, collected a series of historically important craftsmanship techniques now referred to as Hyakka-Hisho. To honor the artwork and creativity of this original period, TACCIA has created the Kaga Limited Collection to pay homage to the history and tradition of this celebrated period.
Each fountain pen is made by hand in TACCIA's Urushi studio in Wajima, enhancing traditional inlay techniques with precious metals and lacquers.
To blend the old with the new, each fountain pen comes fitted with a bi-color 18k gold nib made in Japan. And to bring historical craftsmanship into your hand, each series is limited and signed by the maki-e artisan.
This fountain pen comes packaged in a wooden gift box and comes with a cloth pen sleeve. The pen fills with either a proprietary Sailor converter or Sailor ink cartridges; both are included.

Please note we are unable to accept a return of this pen for any reason once it has been used with ink. Please thoroughly inspect and dry test the pen before use.
