This is a light gray with purple and earthy tones akin to a taupe. Nice shading even with a fine nib. Color will vary depending on the paper.
I think I have found a replacement for my previous favorite ink (a Monteverde gray) in Saulor Yurameku Yoi. It does have a delicate shading that I enjoy and I've had no feathering even on post-its or crummy journal paper. It's dark enough to read but light enough that there is very little ghosting and I've had no bleed-through. I love it, it doesn't distract while I'm writing but it's a pleasure to read over once I'm done. I was shocked to find there were no reviews before this!
