Beautiful color, bleeds on ever paper

I usually love pale colors of sailor inks, but this ink bled/ feathered on every paper.

A well-behaved ink that is just not my color

This ink is the exact color that an old lady smells like. I received this ink sample as part of a random assortment. It's not a color I would have chosen myself, and it's interesting to work with! There's nothing wrong with it; it has no particular odor, dries well, flows reasonably, etc. There is a nice amount of shading-y contrast between start and end of stroke on reasonable paper.

Beautiful

So I was looking through some inks and which ones I would like for a sample ... and EVERYTIME I came across this Color is just jumped out to me ! So I put it in my cart .. then I purchase the order and come to realize out of almost 20 colors , this is the only one I accidentally bought double of . Just went to show everytime I came across this Color I loved it . So when I got it , I had MANY to choose from , but this was the first ink I inked up with . And omg it is just beautiful! It's like a gray dusty pinkish purple . It flowed greattt and didn't feather , and had a pretty good dry time . I absolutely love this Color !

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I fill my fountain pen from an ink sample vial? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

The technique depends on the fountain pen's filling mechanism.

Check out our blog post on How to Fill a Fountain Pen from an Ink Sample Vial, or watch the video here:

How much writing can I really do with 2ml? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

We find that usually you can get 2 good fills for a typical converter with our ink samples, or one good fill with a large capacity piston-filling pen.

How much writing you can do depends on you more than anything else. It mostly depends on how big or small you write, and the nib size you’re using. We recommend experimenting with different nib sizes to find what works best for you.
