Deep Green with Sheen

I think that this was definitely pass as an office/formal ink because unless you're looking very closely it appears black. That the primary reason why I purchased this ink. It's a slower drying sorta dry flowing ink and, is not waterfast. I paired it with a Sailor Pro Gear in broad, with that the copperish sheen comes though on a lot of papers but not all. Overall I really like the inkit reminds me of the atmospheric phenomenon of 'airglow' which I find quite beautiful.

Rich, Complex Color

The sample image is true to the ink's color: a deep, distinguished seaweed green. It also shines exactly as advertised, especially on Tomoe River paper, though the finer the nib used the less obvious the effect. I can't comment on its water resistance, but it's overall an excellent ink.

Shikori Miruai

This ink is very good quality- moderately dry flow in a Sailor Pro Gear EF, but that allows the fineness of the nib to really show! The color is strong and I really like it! I haven't tested waterfastness or permanence though.

Solid green-black

This ink is a very pretty dark green. It could even be called a black which shades green. I would describe the hue as pine or emerald. Goulet's picture is a little lighter than my experience, and I have been unable to get any reddish sheening or sheening-adjacent color shift like the Goulet picture might suggest. That said, I think the color is quite nice and the performance of the ink is wonderful.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which pens can accept this ink? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

Any of these fountain pens will work with bottled ink. Typically, as long as the pen can be filled with a converter, has a built-in filling mechanism like a piston, or can be eyedropper-filled, it can accept bottled ink. You can also refill an empty ink cartridge from bottled ink using an ink syringe.
