I ordered this sample to match the new pen above, and it is a very nice ink. The ink is very well-behaved both in flow and drying time, but be advised that I used this in a pen with a MF (medium fine) nib that seemed closer to an F which usually makes for a faster drying time. Thin line, so I didn't see much shading - YMMV. I also can't comment on water resistance, As for the color, I found it to be lighter than the picture of the sample. To my eye, it's close to the old Sheaffer Lavender ink - ever so slightly less pink but very close. As I have several purple inks in various shades, I'm not sure if I need to add this to my ink collection, but I do recommend it as a good ink in a pretty shade.

I haven't written with it but did make a q-tip swab . Dried quickly. Minimal streaking as a swab.

This ink is exactly what I'm looking for in a purple. Not too dark that it seems like blue or black, not too light that you can't read what you're writing. 10/10 would recommend!

This is the exact shade of purple I've been looking for. A light, dusty kind of lilac. I am in love. Plus it matches perfectly with my new TWSBI Diamond 580 ALR Purple. 10/10 love how it writes in a fine to broad nib.
