Bright is the word to describe it! If you like colors that pops on paper as you write, you'll be happy with this ink... Saturated and strong, flows very well and even could be highly recommended as a daily ink!

First off, fuchsia is my favorite color, especially when it is tipped just a bit to the violet side. This ink is exactly that color! It flows beautifully, has some nice shading and a beautiful green shimmer in spots when used in a nice wet pen. The way the ink goes down it's almost like there's an outline around every line you put down. You have to look close to see it, but it makes the ink really stand out from the page. It's simply stunning!

This ink has nice characteristics and a color that pops off the page. A little too pinkish for me to use regularly but a very nice purple none the less.

Everybody should have this ink. It makes me happy just to look at it! Great flow, brilliant color--total inky WIN.

I had bought a sample of this R & K ink and had immediately fallen in love with it. I had to have a full bottle!The color of the Solferino is so rich... I wouldn't call it a purple as much as it's more of a Magenta... It has those rosey pink tones in it, along with the purple base. It's just such a different color, and I'm so glad to have found it to add it to my ink collection.
