I put it my wish list. Along with the other three ink samples that were on that order.

I specifically wanted an ink that I could write with when leaving my pen uncapped for a long time, for example when taking notes on the phone or at the doctor. I tried this ink in a Moonman Wacai Mini with a fine nib that I received as a Christmas present, and haven't felt the need to try another ink out in it. It wrote straight out of the gate, and it behaved *very* well. No hard starts, skipping, railroading, feathering, spreading, or bleeding. It writes a nice, plain black line. Not as dark as some, like Platinum carbon black or the De Atramentis document line, but also not as light as as some, like Waterman Intense Black. So far, it hasn't leaked from the pen, or caused other issues. I haven't cleaned the pen out yet, but it came off of my hands easily enough, not really much worse than any of the J. Herbin inks for cleaning off the skin, for example. I'm extra impressed because prior to this I haven't been a big fan of private reserve inks. Some of the colors are alright, but they didn't have qualities that I wanted, and most of their inks feathered monstrously for me. I'm definitely going to keep this as my go-to black ink for when I don't need something water-proof or an ink that has been time-tested as safe for vintage pens. I'm marking water resistance as very low because it isn't advertised as such, and I didn't actually water test it, so I don't want to get anyone's hopes up. Unfortunately, though I hate to say it, I ordered a full bottle elsewhere. I completely understand their reasoning because I grew up in family businesses and also occasionally sell things on auction sites, but that almost nine dollar shipping charge is just absolutely brutal when you're only buying one relatively cheap item.
