This pen is great for the price! It writes very nicely with just a little bit of feedback. Great flow and a very consistent linefor the pen being plastic it has a very nice build quality. Great for quick notes at work and a good 'throw around' pen overall
Love these pens, simple, easy writing, nice nib, practical everyday pen. Nice and light, use it in the field, give it away to anyone who is amused by seeing a fountain pen in action, always an enjoyable experience!!
I bought a bunch of pens in my first order (mostly discounted and sale stuff) and picked up one of these in Purple. It immediately became my signing pen for book signings (I'm an author and do some sales in person). It looked great and despite my inexperience worked just fine. My only complaint was some leakage that got some ink on my fingers. It happened after leaving it closed and in a folder in my backpack for a while.When that first one ran out of ink I panicked a little, ran back to the Goulet site and bought three more. Those should last me quite a while. I'm trying out some Noodler's African Violet, but I love the convenience of these Pilots. I don't have to worry about cleaning, refilling, and all that, just put them where I can find them and use them. I'm not good about keeping up with maintenance, so these are a perfect fit for me. I'm sure I'll be using them for a long time, even if I finally switch from purple for some reason.
Very comfortable easy to write with
The Pilot Varsity is a great little pen! It has a pretty wet flow for a medium nib, but it is reliable and pretty smooth! The purple is beautiful!
