Excelent ink And very personable shipping

The ink itself is fantastic. I love how it shades and the hue of blue is beautiful. The shipping experience was also great comma very sturdy packaging and fun extras in the box. Will be using Goulet for future hobby purchases

A Free Flowing Blue-Black

This is your standard blue-black ink. Don't be fooled by the multitude of variations of colour you see online or in other reviews. There is no green. There is no teal. There is no turquoise. This is a straight down the middle blue-black. Think navy blue. The flow is quite high, but I wouldn't say quite as high as Yama-Budo. It also doesn't seem to lubricate as much as Yama-Budo. It has moderate shading. It shows as almost black with a wet pen. Sheening is only evident when a lot of ink is put down on the correct paper. I was hoping for a little green tinting, so the colour can get quite monotonous after a while. It is most suited for professional work environments. A solid ink, however.

Great colour, you never get tired

Very interesting blue with teal, black, cobalt and Sirius blue.Very well behaved, wet, lubricated, medium sheen (with B nib), good shading, never smeared or feathered (using Pilot Custom 74 BB gold nib)

Pilot Irushizuko

Inks are all wonderful. They behave well in almost all pens. This is a great slightly dusty dark blue. Not quite blue-black, but leaning there.

Typical Iroshizuku

As always, you can't go wrong with Iroshizuku ink. This is a great color.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which pens can accept this ink? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

Any of these fountain pens will work with bottled ink. Typically, as long as the pen can be filled with a converter, has a built-in filling mechanism like a piston, or can be eyedropper-filled, it can accept bottled ink. You can also refill an empty ink cartridge from bottled ink using an ink syringe.
