Perfect Purple

As far as light purples go, this is it. Paragon of color and smooth writing. So great I am buying the full bottle on my next order!

Great ink!

This ink writes very smoothly and it dries well on the paper I've used it on. The color is great and very legible! I love this brand and this particular purple shade

Sample in perfect condition, happy I did not have to buy the bottle!

A little too wet for my personal preference, but the color is beautiful. Very similar to the Purple cartridges Pilot sells, except a bit more intense and with less shading.

Straightforward violet

This one is a pretty solid, straightforward violet purple hue. I used it with a glass dip pen on Tomoe River 52 gsm white paper. The dry time is much faster than expected, but I had to re-dip a lot. That actually surprised me, because the consistency of the ink on the pen didn't look thin enough to anticipate this. But it flowed pretty wetly ones I touched nib to paper and just kept flowing.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I fill my fountain pen from an ink sample vial? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

The technique depends on the fountain pen's filling mechanism.

How much writing can I really do with 2ml? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

We find that usually you can get 2 good fills for a typical converter with our ink samples, or one good fill with a large capacity piston-filling pen.

How much writing you can do depends on you more than anything else. It mostly depends on how big or small you write, and the nib size you’re using. We recommend experimenting with different nib sizes to find what works best for you.
