Top 2-3 turquoise

Good turquoise. I will probably buy a bottle. Lamy had a slight advantage as it seemed to be very slightly brighter and more resemble the lighter shades of the turquoise stone.

Nice Color

I've used this in my Lamy 2000 and Pilot 823. I like Pelikan. I have their Royal Blue. So, I thought I would try this color. It's great. It's your quintessential Turquoise. Can't go wrong with it.

Good partner to Pilot Metropolitan & L1917

I'm very new to fountain pens, but having worked in the printing industry I am fairly picky. I've been Bullet Journaling for a few months and tried Pelikan inks based on a Goulet recommendation, when I explained what pens were and were not making me happy with my Leuchtturm1917 A5 dot grid notebook. I was delighted to see the color matches my favorite turquoise Pilot G2 pens - a color I loved so much when it was launched, I searched everywhere for a way to get just that refill and not the assorted colors it came with at the time. The turquoise is dark enough to be legible, light enough to have very little ghosting (I've also had zero bleeding), and the character of the color is strong enough it comes through in the fine point of the Metropolitan (a quality I didn't find with Pelikan Aquamarine (which looked diluted) or Tanzanite (which looked like a messed up black). I am experiencing a lot of smearing however.

The one I am using

I purchased a selection of colors to try in my new Pilot Metropolitan. Of all the colors Pelikan Turquoise was the one I chose to use in my pen first! A beautiful color that is easy on the eyes.

Very nice

A fun turquoise. Nice and bright/vivid. Not in the green spectrum of turquoise at all.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I fill my fountain pen from an ink sample vial? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

The technique depends on the fountain pen's filling mechanism.

How much writing can I really do with 2ml? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

We find that usually you can get 2 good fills for a typical converter with our ink samples, or one good fill with a large capacity piston-filling pen.

How much writing you can do depends on you more than anything else. It mostly depends on how big or small you write, and the nib size you’re using. We recommend experimenting with different nib sizes to find what works best for you.
