Love this ink

I noticed this ink when they had samples on sale. It is hard to keep up with brands, colors and I am fairly new to this fountain pen world. This ink is as states an old world blue which really fits a pen that has the very same color in the resin as is in this ink. It is like a greenish blue and a little off the wall it is a mixture of a dark turquoise and teal ink with a small blue tint with red hue behind it. I absolutely love the color and they are usually out of stock on the ones I like.

Cool ink!

Very nice ink, really cool to look at,just make sure you put the cap on your pen or you will spend 5 minutes getting sheen crust out of the nib

Shine

Love the sheen on this ink. I tried a couple and this was the best sheen. I highly recommend this one. Diamine Polar Glow was close but I prefer this one.

Quite lovely, use in broader nibs/heavier flow systems.

I quite enjoyed this ink, you do need a broader nib and the proper paper to truly bring this out, I find that seems to be the issue with most complaining of lack of results from this and similar inks as well. You can also get nice results from a finer nib and varying flow, as you may be able to assume from the picture, this is something that should have space to breathe, but is a lovely ink. I intend to purchase a bottle in the future.

My favorite blue green so far.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I fill my fountain pen from an ink sample vial? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

The technique depends on the fountain pen's filling mechanism.

Check out our blog post on How to Fill a Fountain Pen from an Ink Sample Vial, or watch the video here:

How much writing can I really do with 2ml? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

We find that usually you can get 2 good fills for a typical converter with our ink samples, or one good fill with a large capacity piston-filling pen.

How much writing you can do depends on you more than anything else. It mostly depends on how big or small you write, and the nib size you’re using. We recommend experimenting with different nib sizes to find what works best for you.
